Windshield Replacement Buffalo - An Unexpected Encounter

It isn't So Tough to Locate Good Auto Glass Repair Buffalo

When looking for auto glass repair, Buffalo is one of the top places to look? I was not aware of this, but about 20 years ago I went through something that made me very aware of this fact. Being a new driver and in my dads car, I had to drive through my first ever hail storm.

As I walked into the living room and looked at my dad's favorite green recliner I called to him "Dad?" At first he didn't answer, "Daddy?" As he lowered the newspaper he looked at me and I took a deep breath before I told him that I had a problem.

"The 'Daddy' remark gave me my first clue that something was amidst. So, what gives?" His reading glasses were halfway down his nose, which he removed, folded and placed on the end table next to his recliner. The air seemed heavy with expectation. I sighed into the silence.

"I'm not a mind reader." he prompted.

"Okay, well, I have a problem with the car. I had an accident." I managed to blurt it out as sweat appeared unprompted across my brow.

"You mean my car?" Now he was standing in front of me. My mere 5 foot or so seemed so small compared to his impressive 6 foot. My car is totaled?"

"No, there is a chip or crack or something in the windshield. I think it happened when I drove home in the hail storm." I don't know why I felt like crying suddenly. That hail storm had been frightening, and I had been grateful to get home the other night. Now to find out that the car was damaged just like I felt I could be damaged, it made things all the more stressful.

For some reason I felt tearful. Probably because I was so happy and relieved to get home safely the other night from the hail storm. That was a scary experience for me and now the car was damaged. I too could have been hurt if matter were worse.

I could see the tension leave my father as he found out his car was not smashed. Since he saw that I was so worried about the car, he gave me his "it's going to be fine" smiles. He put his shoes on and told me to go with him to the garage.

He was going to teach me the first thing about repairing a car. This is when I found out just how cool my dad could be. As he checked out the chipped windshield he smiled. He stopped smiling when he realized how worked up I was about the whole situation. I think it was out of respect for me and that was when I knew it was going to be ok.

"The first thing we need to do is find somewhere to get this fixed. We are lucky that when it comes to auto glass repair, Buffalo has some of the best repair shops." He hugged me again after he laughed about it some more and he told me not to worry.

When I have to deal with car problems today, I think back to 20 years ago when my dad was as cool as can be, smiling with ease. I can still here him today, as deal with another cracked windshield from a hail storm, "watch out for speed bumps and potholes and drive as little as possible. When it comes to auto glass repair, Buffalo is still my top choice."
